Inflight Service – Adding Value To Your Travel

If you ever travelled by air or sea in the Nordic/Baltic area, chances are good that we have served you without you knowing. And to us, that's a sign of our success.

Because the essence of our business concept is precisely that: to act behind the scene of our partners - primarily airlines, airport retail operators and ferry and cruise lines - ensuring that the travel experience of their customers is enhanced by convenient, high quality shopping from a wide selection of attractive products at outstanding value.

Our retailing services are employed by many of the region's major operators in these fields, putting us in a leading position in our area.

We are also the people behind the EUROSHOP airport shops chain, with stores in Sweden, Estonia, and Poland - and also on board ferries operated by Fjord Line and Unity Line.

So, we don't measure our success by public recognition, but by the retail success of our partners - and, ultimately, by the extent of your satisfaction with your shopping experience.

Inflight takes over Travel Retail at Stockholm Skavsta Airport

Stockholm, 1 March 2010.

Following a recently concluded bid process, Stockholm Skavsta Airport’s has awarded Inflight Service Europe the contract for management and operations of the airport’s airside travel retail shop, “Buy & Fly”.  The contract will be effective as of 1 May 2010.

The airport itself has operated the shop up to now, with Inflight Service as its chief supplier of goods.

The shop will undergo complete redesign and refurbishing in conjunction with the change of management.

- In view of our long-standing cooperation with SSA that dates back to 1995, we are of course very pleased to have been entrusted with the full responsibility for the shop operation, comments Peter Candell, Director Business Development at Inflight Service. We look forward to taking an active part in increasing the passenger service level by providing an enhanced product offer and an improved overall shopping environment. The planning for the creation of a new and better shop is already in progress, concludes Peter Candell.

- We are very pleased to have finalised this process, says Joakim Lindholm, Stockholm Skavsta Deputy CEO. Not only the management, but also the shop staff, which will be adopted by Inflight Service, see great potential in the new arrangement. It’s however the airport’s passengers that will be the biggest winners, profiting from a new bigger and much more attractive shop.
